What we collect
Information you give us. When you join our interest list, we ask for:
- Whether you are a leader or an employer
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your company and job title
- Your years of experience managing people (optional)
- Your answer to the question "What is the hardest part of leading as a Christian at work right now?" (optional)
If you email us or reply to one of our messages, we also keep what you send.
Please use care with the optional open question. Your answer may reveal personal or religious details. Share only what you are comfortable sharing. We use your answer to understand real needs and shape the program. We will not quote your answer publicly without your permission.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and our hosting provider automatically collect basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the website that referred you. This data helps us keep the site working and understand which pages and messages are useful.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to you personally and answer your questions
- Tell you when applications open, and share program details such as dates and the retreat venue
- Send invitations to related events
- Understand what our audience needs so we can build a better program
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Meet legal obligations
We send marketing emails only to people who agreed to receive them when they joined the interest list.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it or trade it either.
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and the program, and only as needed for them to do their work. These include:
- Our website hosting and form provider, which hosts the site and receives form submissions
- Google, which provides the spreadsheet where we keep a copy of form submissions, and the analytics service described below
- Our email service provider, which sends our emails and manages unsubscribes
These providers may process your information on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale, merger, or restructuring of our business.
Our team members, coaches, and program partners do not receive the contents of the interest list except as needed to run the program, and only after you have applied or agreed.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure traffic. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they view, and how they find us. These tools may collect your IP address and device information.
You can control cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not use advertising pixels or run targeted ads based on your activity on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
Email choices
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. You can unsubscribe at any time, or email info@emergentexecs.com and ask us to remove you. We will honor your request promptly, and no later than 10 business days. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still send messages directly about a program you have joined or applied for, such as logistics or payment notices.
How long we keep your information
We keep interest list information until you ask us to delete it or until it is no longer useful for the program, whichever comes first. We keep records of applications and payments for as long as needed for business, tax, and legal reasons. Backup copies may remain for a short time after deletion.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop sending you emails
Email info@emergentexecs.com to make a request. We may need to confirm who you are before we act. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honor those as the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure, reputable service providers and limited access to our records. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site and program are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
